The Lister Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is run by independent volunteer members who represent service user voices within the community and action improvements to local maternity services. Working across maternity and neonatal provisions within our Trust and the Hertfordshire and West Essex Local Maternity and Neonatal Service (LMNS), they rely on diversity of voices and feedback to ensure our maternity services are high-quality and meet the needs of the community.
MVP members include previous and current service users, their families, hospital staff, commissioning groups, GPs and volunteers, creating a range of diverse voices.
Our MNVP members work collaboratively with senior staff within Lister Hospital, NHS East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) representatives and government links to ensure our provision is constantly evolving and improving, to provide the best care to our birthing women/people and their families.
The MNVP communicate helpful information and service user updates via the Lister MNVP Facebook page, as well as share positive feedback with maternity staff and organise community fundraising initiatives.
They hold 4 annual meetings which are open to the public and are also attended by MNVP members, senior staff, other maternity staff, CCG representatives and government links. The MNVP has direct daily contact with hospital staff to ensure feedback is efficiently communicated and actioned upon, where necessary.
The MVP rely on regular feedback from current and recent users to improve the service. To leave feedback or get involved as an active member please:
