About Endometriosis Hertfordshire
Led by Mr CP Lim (Consultant Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon), the team consists of another Consultant with specialised interest in endometriosis, and a Specialist Nurse. Together we work closely with women with endometriosis suffering from severe pelvic pain and help them in managing their condition.
As a fully-accredited BSGE Endometriosis Centre since January 2020, we are a Referral Centre to deliver a highly specialised service for women with complex Endometriosis.

Mr C P Lim, Consultant Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon
Mr Lim is the Endometriosis Specialist who leads Endometriosis Hertfordshire. He is a compassionate and committed Consultant who ensures that patients with all forms of endometriosis receive the highest quality of care and treatment. He performs advanced robotic and laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis. He offers a tailored approach to the care of women with pelvic pain and other endometriosis symptoms depending on their circumstances and priorities.
Ms Anna McDougall, Consultant with interest in Endometriosis
Ms Anna McDougall is a Consultant Gynaecologist with a special interest in endometriosis and minimal access surgery. Ms McDougall provides laparoscopic and robotic surgery for endometriosis with a patient-centred holistic approach. Evidence based medicine underpins her practice and she has numerous peer reviewed publications and has presented on endometriosis and fibroids at national and international conferences.
Mr Hielmi Shamsuddin, Minimal Access Surgery and Robotic Fellow
Hielmi completed general obstetrics and gynaecology training in Malaysia and works as a Senior Registrar and Clinical Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery with a special interest in Endometriosis. Endometriosis Hertfordshire is an active training unit for highly advanced minimal access and robotic surgical skills.
June Lynne Revesencio, Endometriosis Clinical Nurse Specialist
Some women with endometriosis require special follow up on their symptoms and long term treatment. Clinical nurse specialist (CNS) June is the main point of contact for women who are known to Endometriosis Hertfordshire who require these follow up. Alongside Mr Lim, they manage the BSGE national database for Endometriosis Hertfordshire. June provides crucial support in seeing and reviewing patients and running Endometriosis Hertfordshire in general.

Healthcare Professionals
Women suspected to have endometriosis can be referred routinely to General Gynaecology to East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust by the GP via Electronic Referral System (ERS).
For specialised and more complex cases, referrals can be made directly by GP to the Endometriosis Clinic at Endometriosis Hertfordshire also through ERS.
