East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust has been named as one of the most improved Trusts in the country.
Following the publication of the 2024 NHS Staff Survey, the Trust was listed as the fourth most improved nationally, with a 4% increase compared to 2023.
The Trust also saw a 4.8% increase of staff “agreeing” or “strongly agreeing” they would recommend it as a place to work, which was the third most improved in the East of England.
Adam Sewell-Jones, Chief Executive said: “The feedback of our staff is so important in helping us to improve their experiences and how we deliver the very best care for patients.
“I am delighted with these results and it is great to see more of our staff recommending the Trust as a great place to work.
“There is always more for us to achieve though, and we will continue to listen to staff so we know what to focus on in the coming years.”
The NHS Staff Survey is focused around the 9 NHS People Promises. The Trust saw improvements in all 9 of the People Promises, significantly improving in 8 of these.
Nationally across all organisations there were 774,828 responses between September and November – a 50 per cent response rate, up from 48 per cent the year before.
