At Mount Vernon we provide a wide range of service to meet our staff’s and visitors’ needs.
Coffee shop
The Comforts Fund volunteer group run a coffee shop in the cancer outpatients department. It provides hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm
Restaurant
The Oak Tree restaurant is in the main building, past the reception area. It serves a wide range of hot meals.
Opening times
Monday to Friday from 7am to 7.45pm; a vending machine service is available outside of these times.
Shops
There is a newsagent’s on site run by The Comforts Fund volunteer group. It is open from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
There is also a trolley service that goes around the ward, nicknamed ‘the Tardis’, as it sells everything!
The Your Health pharmacy fulfills prescriptions received from the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, and stocks health related items for purchase. Opening times are Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
