Mr Nicholas James was appointed as a consultant in Plastic Surgery in 1996. His specialist interests are in head and neck surgery and skin cancer surgery.
Mr James is the Chairman of the Surgery Division at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. Until 2009 he was on the council of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He now sits on their Professional Standards Committee.
Mr James has now retired and works part time, one day a week.
