Dr Bhuva is a consultant clinical oncologist at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
His primary interests are in the management of colorectal, upper gastrointestinal and hepato-biliary malignancies. He also supports the acute oncology service at Watford General Hospital.
Dr Bhuva qualified from Imperial College London in 2005 and completed junior medical training at the Hammersmith, West Middlesex and Charing Cross Hospitals. He spent the majority of his specialist training at Mount Vernon, but also trained at North Middlesex, Imperial and UCLH. During training, he undertook a fellowship in radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital and a postgraduate Master’s degree in oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research.
Dr Bhuva is actively involved with clinical research and recruits to and manages patients enrolled in clinical trials. He has several first name publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented on multiple occasions at international conferences.
He is also an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists Final Fellowship examination and is very involved in education and specialist training in London.
