Mr Muhammad Javaid is a consultant plastic surgeon specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery in addition to general plastic and skin cancer surgery.
Mr Javaid graduated in 1988 and after having an extensive training in plastic surgery, was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training in 2006. He has worked in many teaching hospitals including, Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Birmingham University Hospital and Royal London Hospital.
Mr Javaid holds a National Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction Fellowship organised jointly by the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, and British Association of Surgical Oncology as well as a highly competitive accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship at the renowned Wellington Hospital in London.
He joined East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in December 2007. Since then he is providing a high quality consultant service in plastic and reconstructive breast surgery at Lister Hospital in Stevenage and Bedford General Hospital.
He offers reconstructive surgery for trauma and cancers, as well as cosmetic female and male breast surgery, post weight loss body contouring procedures, abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm and thigh lifts in suitable patients. He also performs prominent ears correction, eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty.
