Michael has been a consultant in the Trust since 1999, in the specialty of anesthesia and critical care. He has trained in Nottingham, Brisbane and London – including The Royal Free, University College London Hospitals, Great Ormond Street and Harefield hospital. Michael was appointed as medical director in December 2017 and prior to this was divisional chair of surgery for five years.
