We are delighted to announce that the Department for Health and Social Care have approved our application to add ‘Teaching’ to our name as a reflection of our ongoing commitment to teaching, training and education. From the 1 April 2025 onwards, our name will be East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust.

We are passionate about unlocking the potential of our staff and supporting everyone to be the best they can be including access to over 40 different apprenticeships.
Every day the trust works with partners to welcome students on placements including nursing and midwifery students from the University of Hertfordshire and student doctors from Cambridge University and University College London Medical Schools.
We are excited to be working with the University of Hertfordshire to help establish the new Hertfordshire Medical School opening in 2026.
