Dr George trained at the University of Birmingham and specialised in Diabetes and Endocrinology via the University of Cambridge where she also graduated with a PhD in Severe Insulin Resistance.
She leads the inpatient service and also has a special interest in education. She has recently been appointed a Regional Co-ordinating Sub Dean for the University of Cambridge and to the role of RCP/ABCD/SfE/DUK Manpower Co-ordinator.
