Ms Jasmine Leonce was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in May 2011. She was trained in the North West London rotation and has worked at renowned units such as Queen Charlottes, St. Mary’s and Lister Hospital. She has completed advanced training in Labour Ward, Maternal Medicine and Fetal Medicine. She has conducted research in fetal growth restriction and placental physiology at Imperial College London.
She specialises in Fetal Medicine including detailed abnormality scans, amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling. She also specialises in high risk antenatal care such as multiple pregnancy and intrauterine growth restriction.
She has been the Clinical Director for Obstetrics since 2015. She works closely with the Head of Midwifery and other colleagues to ensure that we provide safe and high quality care in our Maternity services. She was Labour Ward Lead from 2011 to 2015.
Ms Leonce is an enthusiastic Obstetrician who is committed to excellence. She seeks to provide a first class service to women in offering choices for delivery planning and seeks to maintain high standards of intrapartum care
